Activities of the Moldovan National Platform in 2015
The priorities of the Moldovan National Platform (MNP) in the period of 2014-2015 were focused on monitoring of the Association Agreement (AA), organising of EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform, conducting campaigns to raise awareness about the AA, and developing thematic projects.
The MNP organised multiple campaigns to raise awareness about the EU-Moldova AA, the DCFTA and advantages of choosing the “European path”. The platform conducted 19 regional meetings with the local representatives, farmers and SME owners concerning the benefits of EU integration and opportunities that DCFTA offers. Also, 14 seminars on the process of EU integration and campaigns on increasing awareness through publications, information points and online resources were carried out.
In terms of capacity building, the NGO Platform “For Europe”, which is comprised of the majority of MNP members, developed a training for NGOs to advise them on communications related to the EU and the EU-Moldova Association process.
