EaP Index 2014 kick off meeting in Kyiv, 20-21st of May

On 20-21st May in Kyiv, just before Ukrainian elections, EaP Index project team and country experts met to start a new year and discuss the next step towards developing a new European Integration Index 2014 for EaP Countries edition.

The EaP Index tracks the progress of Eastern Partnership countries—Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine – annually within the established methodology. It provides a nuanced cross-country and cross-sector picture that is comparative for the region. The Index is developed by independent civil society experts from Eastern Partnership countries and EU who advocate reforms related to European integration and this year is supported by Swedish International Development Agency (Sida).

This year the core project team decided to fix the time scope in the way, so to include the evolved events and developments in Ukraine in this country’s rating. The new publication is planned to be ready for the EaP CSF platform meeting on 20-21st of November, taking place in Tbilisi, Georgia. Best of luck experts and EaP countries!
