Annual Meeting of Working Group 4 on 14 June 2013
Working Group 4 (WG4) "Contacts between People" held its annual meeting on 14 June 2013 in Brussels to discuss its current and future activities. The meeting was chaired by the Coordinators of WG4 Yaryna Borenko and Nikolai Kvantaliani and gathered around 25 participants of civil society organisations from the Eastern Partnership countries and the EU. The coordinators initiated the discussion by posing pertinent questions to the activity of the group. The questions focused on the issue of inclusivity of the group, reinvigorating the work on sub-group level, and including such spheres as research and innovations into the scope of activities of the group. Such concerns as diversity of represented organisations in the group and as a result a certain difficulty in defining common projects were voiced. The cross-cutting issues in the WG's portfolio with WG1 and WG2 were identified. |
