MoldovaMoldova's National Platform was established at a National Conference on 25 March 2011 which was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, who presented their view of civil society involvement in the EaP and stressed their willingness to accept the participation of civil society organisations in the official platforms of the EaP. The National Platform is open to all civil society organisations interested in participating. The only condition for becoming an eligible applicant is that an organisation must have been registered for at least two years and be currently active. Activities of the Moldovan National Platform in 2015The priorities of the Moldovan National Platform (MNP) in the period of 2014-2015 were focused on monitoring of the Association Agreement (AA), organising of EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform, conducting campaigns to raise awareness about the AA, and developing thematic projects. The MNP organised multiple campaigns to raise awareness about the EU-Moldova AA, the DCFTA and advantages of choosing the “European path”. The platform conducted 19 regional meetings with the local representatives, farmers and SME owners concerning the benefits of EU integration and opportunities that DCFTA offers. Also, 14 seminars on the process of EU integration and campaigns on increasing awareness through publications, information points and online resources were carried out. In terms of capacity building, the NGO Platform “For Europe”, which is comprised of the majority of MNP members, developed a training for NGOs to advise them on communications related to the EU and the EU-Moldova Association process.
