Appointment of a Communications Manager for CSF Secretariat: Lucas Maurer
The Secretariat is pleased to
announce that the position of Communication Manager has been filled. After
examining 44 applications received in response to an open call and interviewing
12 candidates, the position of Communications
Manager has been offered to Lucas Maurer, who accepted and was introduced to the CSF Steering Committee on its first
meeting on 24-25 January 2013 in Brussels. Lucas is bringing to the Forum in-depth knowledge
of the Eastern Partnership and valuable working experience at the
Division for Eastern Partnership, Regional Cooperation and OSCE at the European
External Action Service. He has also
worked at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (Stiftung
Wissenschaft und Politik, SWP) in Berlin and the Austrian Embassy in Ljubljana.
Lucas Maurer, who completed an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies at the
College of Europe, an MA in Political Science and a BA in Slavonic Studies, is
fluent in German, English and French and has a very good knowledge of Russian.
