Update on the Fight against Corruption in GeorgiaMembers of the Sub-Working Group on the Fight against Corruption have produced a number of reports and analyses on the situation in Georgia which can be found below: A report analyzing the implementation of Georgia’s specific commitments undertaken within the Open Government Partnership programme and the corresponding press release can be found here. A report on election campaign finances focusing specifically on the income and expenditure of electoral subjects of the 2012 parliamentary elections can be found here. A book called 'Who Owned Georgia 2003-2012' was presented on 22 February 2013. The book describes local businessmen and the companies, past and current, who owned and controlled significant shares in important sectors of the Georgian economy and their ties with members of the former government. Furthermore, 18 Georgian NGOs submitted a list of recommendations to the Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to improve the Open Government Partnership action plan and raise the profile of commitments undertaken by the government in this action plan on 5 February.
