Working Group 3 Annual Meeting: Capacity Building and Exchange with Policy Makers

The Working Group 3 “Environment, Climate Change and Energy Security” of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) is holding its annual meeting on 5 June in Brussels. The meeting is organized during the European Green Week and the members will attend both events.

The WG3 meeting is divided into two parts - the exchange with policy makers and capacity building. EaP CSF members will discuss with the representatives of European Commission’s DG Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, DG Energy and DG Environment the cooperation between EU and Eastern Partnership countries in the areas of environment, climate change and energy security and the civil society involvement in the relevant cooperation processes.

The capacity building will focus on the monitoring frameworks and tools, including ISO governance standards and the case study of Bulgaria’s environment policy before and after joining the EU.
