Reporting the European Union: A Handbook for Journalists

The EU Media Neighbourhood project has recently published a handbook for journalists on reporting on the European Union.

The handbook contains information for journalists on EU institutions, editorial guidelines and ethics and professionalism in online media that intends to promote impartial and objective reporting on EU-related affairs.

The Media Neighbourhood is a 3 year €4.5 million European Union funded project which delivers a journalism training and networking programme across 17 European Union neighbouring countries, including the six Eastern Partnership countries. The project aims to build the capacity of the media across the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Caucasus regions to effectively and professionally report on key social, political and economic issues.
