Azerbaijan’s presidential election in October will be “ democratic and a free expression of the will of the Azeri people” says Azerbaijani politician. The CSF Co-chair begs to differOn 19 March speaking at a meeting of Euronest Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society, Krzysztof Bobinski the SC Co-chair criticized the recent actions of the Azerbaijani authorities against civil society (see here). The statement evoked a response from Mr Elkhan Suleymanov on 9 April. He said that the criticism was “beyond reality and non-objective (see here). Krzysztof Bobinski replied to this letter on 29 April expressing his hopes for the administration living up to its promises of democratic elections.
