EU Delegation in Armenia launched civil society consultation on protection of human rights

The EU Delegation in Armenia is inviting civil society organisations to contribute to the development of future EU assistance in the area of human rights protection, a press release from the Delegation says.

The aim of the consultation is to increase the engagement with the civil society actors in Armenia and possibility to identify persisting problems in the area of human rights, as well as collecting proposals from civil society on ways of addressing these issues.  

The consultation will focus on several thematic areas, namely: elections, torture prevention, anti-discrimination, gender equality and domestic/gender based violence, as well as child protection.

Your feedback is welcome by 5th September 2014. Civil society organisations can participate by using the online consultation tool of the EU Delegation [www.eu-cso.am], where previous registration is required.
