Kyiv Security Perspectives - Towards a Security Agenda for the Eastern Partnership
On 3-5 June 2015 the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) and its Ukrainian Platform organised in Kyiv the International Security Experts Conference ‘Kyiv Security Perspectives - Towards a Security Agenda for the Eastern Partnership’ that gathered security experts from the Eastern Partnership countries and the EU. The main aim of the conference was to conduct a wide-ranging expert discussion on strengthening the security dimension of the EaP policy covering the spectrum of possible soft and hard measures. At the end of the conference, a resolution with practical recommendations on strengthening different dimensions of security in the Eastern Partnership countries was adopted. The resolution will be presented during the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum’s (EaP CSF) advocacy campaign on security issues in the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy review and at the EaP CSF Annual Assembly to be held in Kyiv in November 2015. This event is part of the regional activity of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. |
