Statement of WG1 on recent cases of violations of the ceasefire on the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces

We the representatives of WG1 of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum express our concern with regards to the numerous cases of violations of the ceasefire on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces resulting in casualties on both sides.

We condemn all actions that harm the stability in the region and create obstacles for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

We urge the authorities of both sides to the conflict to undertake the necessary measures in order to ensure the observance of the ceasefire and the  fulfilment of all obligations set forth in the Ceasefire Agreement.
